Safari of a Lifetime Photo Book
Trade Note: This is an amateur photojournalism unlike any other on the market. It is a companion to both the storybook Safari of a Lifetime, Carla and Monica in Tanzania, as the photographic scenes are an extension to the storybook, as an added bonus. The photography book is also a companion to the activity and coloring book Color our Safari, which also mirrors photos from the photography book for the entire family to enjoy. All three books were written during COVID-19 quarantine for students and adults to escape and enjoy a virtual safari experience.
Additional Info
- Carla and Monica traveled across four continents and toured, arguably, the most majestic scenery on the planet--the Serengeti. As amateur photographers, the two explorers captured over four thousand photographs with five different camera devices. Their extraordinary experience in the Republic of Tanzania is depicted in an expository fiction storybook for STEM and STEAM students.
- The photographs illustrate baboons, giraffes, and herds of elephants, antelopes, zebras, and buffalo in their natural habitat, to name a few. Among some of the most amazing shots include the famous tree lion, leopards, and lions, and lioness with cubs in the mist of a fresh kill. Jackson Hangai, the original Tanzanian tour guide, characters and narration from the storybook, are surprising accents included.
